Introduction
After a cervical conization procedure, 2 to 4 weeks of rest are required, depending on factors such as underlying medical conditions and individual physical health. Cervical conization creates a wound site, which may bleed after the scab forms and subsequently detaches. Individuals with good overall health typically recover faster, gradually healing within about 2 weeks. However, those with poorer physical condition or pre-existing medical conditions may require a longer recovery period, needing 2 to 4 weeks of rest before gradually recovering.

Cervical conization requires 2 to 4 weeks of rest, depending on factors such as underlying medical conditions and individual physical health.

1. Around 2 weeks

Cervical conization creates a wound on the body, and bleeding may occur after the wound scab falls off. When an individual's physical condition is good, recovery tends to be faster. After 3–7 days of hospital observation, the patient can be discharged and continue resting at home. Typically, about 2 weeks of rest are needed for the body to gradually recover.

2. 2–4 weeks

For individuals with poorer physical health or pre-existing medical conditions, postoperative recovery may take longer, generally requiring 2 to 4 weeks of rest for gradual recovery. Adequate rest is essential during this period, and strenuous activities should be avoided.

If vaginal bleeding persists after 4 weeks post-surgery, a medical evaluation at the hospital is necessary to identify the specific cause and receive appropriate treatment.
