What is hepatocellular carcinoma
Hepatocellular carcinoma, also known as hepatocellular liver cancer, is a pathological type of liver cancer that can cause symptoms such as liver region pain and jaundice.
Hepatocellular liver cancer is a malignant tumor occurring in the liver. Its development is associated with factors such as viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and aflatoxin exposure. As the tumor grows, it stimulates the liver capsule, leading to pain in the liver area; if worsened, this pain may radiate to the right shoulder and back. As the disease progresses, it affects digestive system health, resulting in symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal distension, and jaundice. Patients are advised to promptly visit a hospital for serological tests, histopathological examinations, and other evaluations to determine appropriate treatment based on the results.
During recovery, patients should rest in bed, maintain regular dietary habits, and avoid spicy or irritating foods.
