Introduction
Multiple gallbladder polyps refer to the presence of multiple polyps within the gallbladder, usually caused by hyperplasia of the gallbladder mucosa. The incidence of multiple gallbladder polyps is relatively low, and they typically do not cause obvious symptoms. The malignant transformation rate of multiple gallbladder polyps is relatively low, with most patients not developing cancer. The malignancy rate of multiple gallbladder polyps is approximately 1%–2%.

Multiple gallbladder polyps have almost no potential for cancerous transformation and do not necessarily become malignant; however, the risk of malignancy cannot be completely ruled out, and malignant changes are still possible. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Not necessarily developing into cancer

Multiple gallbladder polyps refer to the presence of multiple polyps within the gallbladder, usually caused by hyperplasia of the gallbladder mucosa. The incidence of multiple gallbladder polyps is relatively low, and they typically do not cause obvious symptoms. The rate of malignant transformation of multiple gallbladder polyps is relatively low, and most patients will not develop cancer. The malignancy rate of multiple gallbladder polyps is approximately 1%–2%. Therefore, with active treatment after diagnosis, local symptoms can be improved, and clinical cure may be achieved.

2. Possible malignant transformation

However, malignant transformation of multiple gallbladder polyps is not entirely impossible, especially for polyps larger than 1 cm, which carry an increased risk of malignancy. Therefore, patients with multiple gallbladder polyps should undergo regular examinations and follow-ups and take preventive measures against malignancy, such as regular monitoring, maintaining healthy lifestyle habits, and avoiding excessive alcohol consumption.

In daily life, patients should follow their doctor's recommendations for regular check-ups and follow-up visits, as well as adopt necessary preventive measures to protect their health.
