Introduction
In general, preputial ring circumcision is used to treat phimosis or redundant prepuce. The specific procedure is as follows:
1. The patient lies in the supine position. The genital and abdominal areas are disinfected and draped before surgery.
2. Local anesthesia is administered at the base of the scrotum.
3. The excess length of the foreskin is marked, and the area intended for excision is outlined.
Generally, circumcision using a circular clamp is performed to treat phimosis or redundant prepuce. The specific procedure is as follows:
1. The patient lies in the supine position. The genital and abdominal areas are disinfected and draped before surgery.
2. Local anesthesia is administered at the base of the scrotum.
3. The excess length of the foreskin is marked, and the area intended for removal is outlined.
4. The foreskin is first lifted with forceps, then an incision is made at the frenulum using scissors.
5. Following the marked line, the foreskin is circumferentially excised around the coronal sulcus of the glans penis, and electrocoagulation is used to control bleeding.
6. Finally, the cut edges of the remaining foreskin are sutured together, and the area is dressed and secured with gauze.
7. Sutures are removed after one week. After confirming no bleeding, the severed end of the vas deferens is placed into the scrotum, and the wound is sutured.
