Introduction
Glycoside medications typically include digoxin tablets, deslanoside injection, and digitoxin injection. Deslanoside contained in these drugs is a fast-acting cardiac glycoside naturally present in Digitalis lanata. Administration of these medications can improve normal cardiac function and are commonly used to treat hypertension, arrhythmia, and heart failure.

Cardiac glycosides typically include digoxin tablets, deslanoside injection, and digitoxin injection, among others. The details are as follows:

1. Digoxin Tablets

Digoxin tablets belong to the digitalis glycoside class of drugs and are cardiotonic agents. After administration, they enhance myocardial contractility, slow heart rate, and inhibit the cardiac conduction system, thereby improving systemic and pulmonary circulation. They are commonly used in the treatment of chronic heart failure.

2. Deslanoside Injection

Deslanoside, the active ingredient in this medication, is a naturally occurring rapid-acting cardiac glycoside found in woolly foxglove (Digitalis lanata). Administration of this drug helps improve normal cardiac function and is commonly used to treat hypertension, arrhythmias, and heart failure.

3. Digitoxin Injection

Digitoxin injection is commonly used for treating congestive heart failure. Due to its slow onset but prolonged duration of action, it is suitable for long-term use in patients with chronic heart dysfunction.

In addition to the above commonly used medications, other examples include convallatoxin and ginseng leaf and stem total saponins tablets. Patients should consult their doctor before using any of these medications and must not self-medicate without medical guidance.
