Introduction
Pregnant women who frequently experience headaches may be affected by physiological factors, or pathological conditions such as neurasthenia and hypertension. Treatment can include general management and medication. Headaches and dizziness during pregnancy may result from physiological changes due to pregnancy, as well as psychological stress and emotional factors. It is important to maintain a positive mindset and avoid emotional excitement.

Headaches occurring intermittently in pregnant women may be caused by physiological factors, or pathological conditions such as neurasthenia and hypertension. Treatment can be achieved through general management or medication. Specific details are as follows:

I. Physiological Factors

Physiological changes due to pregnancy, along with psychological stress and emotional fluctuations, may lead to sleep disturbances, dizziness, headaches, and similar symptoms. It is important to maintain a positive mental state and avoid emotional excitement.

II. Pathological Factors

1. Neurasthenia

This is usually caused by prolonged tension and stress, which stimulates the brain and leads to increased mental excitability, resulting in symptoms such as headache and limb weakness. Under medical guidance, medications such as Anshen Bunao Liquid or Yening Granules may be taken for treatment.

2. Hypertension

Associated with factors such as obesity, multiple gestation, or a family history of hypertension, elevated blood pressure and cerebral vasodilation may compress brain tissue, causing a sensation of fullness and pain in the head. Under a doctor's advice, medications such as labetalol hydrochloride tablets or nifedipine controlled-release tablets may be used for treatment.

In addition to the above causes, headaches during pregnancy could also result from insufficient cerebral blood supply, cerebral hypoxia, or cerebral hemorrhage. Adequate rest should be ensured, and excessive fatigue should be avoided.
