Introduction
M2b leukemia is a subtype of acute myeloid leukemia characterized by the presence of myeloblasts and promyelocytes in the bone marrow, along with specific chromosomal abnormalities. In M2b leukemia, there is a marked increase of myeloblasts and promyelocytes in the bone marrow, predominantly featuring abnormal neutrophilic intermediate-stage granulocytes. These cells often have visible nucleoli and show significant asynchrony between nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation.

M2b leukemia is a subtype of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), characterized by the presence of myeloblasts and promyelocytes in the bone marrow, along with specific chromosomal abnormalities. The details are as follows:

In M2b leukemia, there is a significant increase of myeloblasts and promyelocytes in the bone marrow, primarily involving abnormal neutrophilic precursors at the intermediate stage (myelocytes). These cells often have visible nucleoli and show marked asynchrony between nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation, with such abnormal cells accounting for more than 30% of nucleated cells. Chemotherapy is one of the main treatment approaches for M2b leukemia, aiming to kill leukemia cells using chemotherapeutic agents to control disease progression. Patients are generally prescribed medications such as fludarabine phosphate for injection and cisplatin injection according to medical instructions. Depending on individual patient conditions, doctors may choose either single-agent or combination chemotherapy regimens. In addition, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is another important treatment option for M2b leukemia. HSCT involves transplanting healthy hematopoietic stem cells to replace the patient's abnormal stem cells, thereby reconstituting a normal blood-forming system. This approach offers the potential for cure; therefore, when feasible, it is recommended that patients undergo hematopoietic stem cell transplantation as early as possible.

Patients are advised to seek timely medical attention when experiencing any discomfort and to receive standardized treatment under the guidance of a physician, which can facilitate recovery.
