Introduction
Electric heating moxibustion has certain therapeutic effects and is considered a limited therapy, showing relatively good results in treating joint pain, blood stasis, and cold-damp constitutions. The working principle of electric heating moxibustion involves passing electricity through a heating device to generate thermal stimulation, which produces some beneficial effects on the body. However, compared to traditional moxibustion, electric heating fails to fully unleash the true efficacy of mugwort herb.

Electric heating moxibustion has certain therapeutic effects and is considered a localized treatment method, showing relatively good results in treating joint pain, blood stasis, and cold-damp constitutions.

Electric heating moxibustion mainly refers to moxibustion devices. Compared to traditional moxibustion therapy, it is smoke-free, making it suitable for individuals who dislike the smoke produced by burning mugwort. The principle of electric heating moxibustion primarily relies on thermal radiation. By adjusting the distance between the heat source and the body, as well as controlling the duration of heat application, similar effects to traditional moxibustion can be achieved. However, although mugwort wool is still placed inside electric moxibustion devices, the electricity only heats the material without actually igniting the mugwort. As a result, the mugwort does not fully exert its intended therapeutic properties. The acupoint stimulation in electric moxibustion comes solely from the heat generated by electricity, rather than from the combustion of mugwort, meaning the full therapeutic benefits of mugwort cannot be realized.

The working principle of electric heating moxibustion involves using an electric heating element to generate warmth and stimulation, which can still have some beneficial effects on the body. However, compared to traditional moxibustion, electric heating methods fail to fully harness the true therapeutic potential of mugwort.
