Introduction
Salvia tablets primarily function to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. If arrhythmia is caused by conditions such as coronary heart disease, unstable angina, or myocardial ischemia, taking Salvia tablets can usually improve microcirculation and is generally effective. However, if the arrhythmia is due to physiological irregularities or hypokalemia, Salvia tablets may not be effective.
Whether taking Danshen tablets is effective for arrhythmia depends on the underlying cause—it may be helpful in some cases, but not in others.
1. Effective
Danshen tablets primarily function to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. They are particularly suitable for chest pain (chest obstruction) caused by obstructed blood flow due to blood stasis, symptoms of which include a dark purple tongue and chest pain. The tablets can also help relieve such symptoms when caused by angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease. If arrhythmia is caused by conditions such as coronary heart disease, unstable angina, or myocardial ischemia, taking Danshen tablets may improve microcirculation and generally be beneficial.
2. Ineffective
If arrhythmia results from physiological factors such as prolonged mental stress, tension, anxiety, staying up late, insufficient sleep, smoking, or alcohol consumption, or from medical conditions like hypokalemia, then Danshen tablets may not be effective.
To avoid potential adverse effects on health, patients should take Danshen tablets only under the guidance of a physician.
