Introduction
In general, drowning is very painful. If a drowning victim stops breathing and has no heartbeat, place the person on a firm, flat surface and perform rapid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Assess every 2 minutes whether breathing and heartbeat have resumed. If they have not, continue CPR until emergency medical personnel arrive. If the patient develops any symptoms of discomfort, it is recommended to seek immediate medical attention at a hospital to avoid delaying treatment.

Generally, drowning is very painful. The specific analysis is as follows:

Drowning is extremely distressing. After a drowning victim is quickly brought to shore, if they still have breathing and heartbeat, the first step should be water removal. If the victim is an infant, the method for water removal is the same as that used to clear foreign objects from an infant's airway. Note that water removal should not take longer than one minute. If the victim has no breathing or heartbeat, they should be placed on a firm, flat surface and receive immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Every two minutes, assess whether breathing and heartbeat have resumed. If there is no recovery, continue CPR until emergency medical personnel arrive. The process of death by drowning and suffocation is relatively prolonged and extremely painful. If the drowning lasts more than 10 minutes, the prolonged asphyxia often makes successful resuscitation unlikely.

If a patient develops any discomfort symptoms, it is recommended to seek prompt medical attention at a hospital to avoid delaying treatment.
