Generally, chalazion, also known as meibomian cyst, is a chronic inflammatory granuloma of the meibomian gland formed due to obstruction of the gland's excretory duct and retention of secretions. It can be treated surgically. The specific procedure is as follows:

1. Position the patient in a supine position, perform routine disinfection of the surgical site, and lay down a sterile fenestrated drape.

2. Administer local infiltration anesthesia using lidocaine injection.

3. Make a vertical incision along the direction of the meibomian gland opening, and use a curette to scrape out the contents of the chalazion.

4. Use surgical scissors to excise the cyst wall, then apply pressure to achieve hemostasis.

5. After confirming no obvious bleeding, apply ofloxacin eye ointment and bandage the operated eye.

If this surgery is required, it is recommended to visit a正规 hospital and have the procedure performed under the guidance of a qualified physician to avoid bodily injury caused by improper operation. After surgery, maintain good daily habits, keep the eye area clean, and prevent infection to promote proper healing.
