Introduction
Dark circles under the eyes may also be related to genetics. Some individuals are born with thinner skin or have blood vessels that are closer to the skin surface, making dark circles more likely to appear. Using eye creams containing ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin K, and retinol may help improve skin elasticity and promote blood circulation, thereby reducing the appearance of dark circles.

Under normal circumstances, dark circles under the eyes may be related to hereditary factors, aging, excessive fatigue, contact dermatitis, anemia, and other factors. It is recommended to visit a hospital to determine the cause and follow medical advice for treatment. The analysis is as follows:

     1. Heredity: The formation of dark circles may also be related to hereditary factors. Some people are born with thin skin or have blood vessels close to the skin surface, making dark circles more likely to appear. Using eye creams containing ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin K, and retinol can help enhance skin elasticity and promote blood circulation, thereby reducing the appearance of dark circles.

     2. Aging: With age, collagen and elastic fibers in the skin gradually decrease, causing the skin to become thinner and the blood vessels beneath the skin more visible, thus forming dark circles. It is recommended to regularly perform eye massages and use cold compresses to help alleviate dark circles.

     3. Excessive fatigue: Long-term lack of sleep, staying up late, or overuse of the eyes can lead to poor blood circulation around the eyes, causing congestion of blood vessels under the eye skin and forming dark circles. Maintaining a regular sleep schedule, avoiding staying up late, and preventing excessive eye fatigue are recommended.

     4. Contact dermatitis: Contact dermatitis may be caused by exposure to exogenous allergens, leading to skin inflammation and pigmentation, which results in dark circles. Contact dermatitis may be accompanied by symptoms such as redness, itching, and stinging of the skin. Timely use of medications such as loratadine tablets, mupirocin ointment, and clobetasol propionate cream, as directed by a physician, is recommended.

     5. Anemia: Long-term picky eating, dieting for weight loss, and similar behaviors may lead to malnutrition and anemia. Anemia causes a decrease in hemoglobin levels in the blood, making the skin appear pale. The periorbital area has thinner skin, making the color of blood vessels more visible and resulting in dark circles. Patients should follow a doctor's advice to use medications such as ferrous sulfate tablets, polysaccharide-iron complex capsules, and iron fumarate granules to aid recovery.

In daily life, it is recommended to maintain a regular schedule for rest and meals, and consume more nutrient-rich foods, such as sesame seeds, peanuts, soybeans, etc.
