Introduction
Under normal circumstances, eye prescription may continue to increase due to不良 habits, developmental abnormalities, improper eyewear, or pathological myopia. However, if good eye-use habits are maintained and timely interventions are implemented, the progression may not persist. To maintain eye health, it is recommended to develop good visual habits, undergo regular eye examinations, wear appropriate eyeglasses, and maintain a balanced diet and sufficient sleep.

Under normal circumstances, eye prescription may continue to increase due to不良 habits, developmental abnormalities, eyeglasses issues, or pathological myopia. However, maintaining good eye usage habits and timely intervention may prevent continuous progression.

The eyes and visual system of children and adolescents have not fully matured, and their eye prescriptions may change along with growth, development, and alterations in eye usage habits. Myopia usually stabilizes after reaching adulthood; however, adults who engage in prolonged near-eye work, maintain improper eye usage posture, or lack outdoor activities may also experience an increase in myopia.

Maintaining an appropriate reading distance, avoiding reading in environments with insufficient or excessive lighting, and regularly taking eye breaks are good eye usage habits that help reduce the burden on the eyes and lower the risk of increasing myopia. Timely treatment and intervention after developing myopia, such as wearing suitable eyeglasses or contact eyeglasses, or undergoing laser surgery, can effectively prevent gradual worsening of the prescription.
