Introduction
In general, antipyretics refer to medications used to reduce body temperature. Common antipyretic drugs include paracetamol tablets, ibuprofen tablets, aspirin tablets, indomethacin capsules, and nimesulide granules. When using antipyretics, it is important to follow the instructions in the drug label or the advice of a physician strictly, and not to take an excessive dose in order to avoid adverse reactions.

Generally speaking, antipyretics refer to medications used to lower body temperature. Common antipyretics include Paracetamol tablets, Ibuprofen tablets, Aspirin tablets, Indomethacin capsules, and Nimesulide granules. Detailed descriptions are as follows:

1. Paracetamol Tablets

Paracetamol tablets are common antipyretic drugs with mild side effects and wide clinical application. They can be used in children over two months old, adults, pregnant women, and breastfeeding women. Paracetamol tablets are commonly used to treat mild to moderate fever and pain, and can also relieve headaches, joint pain, migraines, toothaches, muscle pain, and neuralgia.

2. Ibuprofen Tablets

Compared with Paracetamol tablets, Ibuprofen tablets have a stronger effect and can maintain a stable body temperature. Ibuprofen belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and has both antipyretic and analgesic effects by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. It is effective against fever, toothache, neuralgia, and joint pain.

3. Aspirin Tablets

Aspirin tablets also have antipyretic effects but may irritate the gastrointestinal tract. In children, its use may cause Reye's syndrome; therefore, it is contraindicated in pregnant women and children. Aspirin tablets are commonly used to treat mild to moderate fever and pain and also have antiplatelet and anti-inflammatory effects.

4. Indomethacin Capsules

Indomethacin capsules are anti-inflammatory medications with strong effects but numerous side effects, often causing decreases in white blood cells and platelets. Therefore, they are contraindicated in pregnant women and children. Indomethacin capsules can effectively reduce fever and relieve pain.

5. Nimesulide Granules

The main component of Nimesulide granules is Nimesulide, an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic drug. Its effects are mainly related to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, mediator release from leukocytes, and oxidative reactions of polymorphonuclear leukocytes. Nimesulide granules can effectively treat high fever in children, but they are contraindicated for children under 12 years of age.

When using antipyretics, strictly follow the instructions or advice from a doctor. Do not take excessive amounts to avoid adverse reactions.
