How to eat ginkgo nuts
Generally, ginkgo nuts can be consumed by boiling them in soup, steaming, roasting, frying, cooking porridge, stir-frying, grinding and brewing, with specific methods as follows:

1. Boiling in soup: Ginkgo nuts can be cooked together with other ingredients. Processed ginkgo nuts can be placed into a pot along with ingredients such as chicken or lean meat, and then cooked with an appropriate amount of water and seasonings.
2. Steaming, boiling, roasting, or frying: Ginkgo nuts can also be consumed by steaming, boiling, roasting, or frying. These high-temperature cooking methods can help remove toxicity. However, they should be eaten in moderation to avoid poisoning.
3. Cooking porridge: After drying, the shells and seed coats of ginkgo nuts can be removed. Then, the nuts can be cooked into porridge with rock sugar and millet, which helps replenish energy and resist aging.
4. Stir-frying: Freshly harvested ginkgo nuts should be soaked in clean water for one hour to partially remove their toxicity. Then, they can be appropriately added to dishes during stir-frying. Cooking at high temperatures through stir-frying can reduce their toxicity.
5. Grinding and brewing: Remove the seed embryos from ginkgo nuts, grind them into powder, and then brew with boiling water. Sugar can be added according to individual taste, or they can be consumed together with soy milk.
However, since ginkgo nuts contain toxic components such as hydrogen cyanide and ginkgoic acid, direct consumption, especially raw consumption, may cause poisoning.
