Introduction
Sea cucumbers are rich in protein, amino acids, minerals, and other nutrients, and have the effects of nourishing the kidneys and moistening dryness to improve complexion; celery contains abundant vitamin C, dietary fiber, and potassium, which help lower blood pressure and promote diuresis to reduce swelling. When consumed together, these two foods can complement each other nutritionally and generally cause no significant adverse reactions in most people.

Under normal circumstances, sea cucumbers and celery can be eaten together. Details are as follows:

Sea cucumbers are rich in protein, vitamins, and mineral elements such as calcium, zinc, phosphorus, and iron. They also contain large amounts of saponins or lipids found in sea cucumbers, providing high nutritional value. Celery contains abundant vitamin B, vitamin C, crude fiber, and minerals, and has a crisp and tender texture. The components of these two foods do not conflict; therefore, they can be consumed together. Eating sea cucumbers and celery together can provide comprehensive nutrition for the body and promote overall health.

For individuals with weak gastrointestinal function or digestive system diseases, consuming large amounts of celery and sea cucumbers may increase the gastrointestinal burden due to the high protein content in sea cucumbers and the high crude fiber content in celery, potentially causing symptoms such as abdominal distension and diarrhea. Additionally, for patients with gout, sea cucumbers are high-purine foods, and excessive intake may lead to elevated uric acid levels, triggering gout attacks. Some individuals may be allergic to celery, and in such cases, the combination should be avoided.

In daily diets, maintaining food diversity and following the principle of moderate consumption, along with appropriately pairing ingredients based on individual constitution and health needs, are key to ensuring healthy eating habits.
