What should I do about toothache caused by excessive internal heat ("shang huo")?

Introduction
Adjust diet: Reduce intake of spicy, fried, and high-sugar foods to avoid exacerbating internal "heat" symptoms. Increase consumption of cooling and fluid-generating foods such as pears, watermelon, and winter melon. Drink plenty of water to promote metabolism and help alleviate local oral inflammation. Apply local cold compress for pain relief: Wrap an ice pack in a clean towel and apply it to the facial area corresponding to the painful tooth.

  上火引起的牙疼可通过调整Diet结构、局部冷敷镇痛、使用温和漱口水、保持规律作息、服用清热镇痛Medicine等Method缓解。若牙疼持续超过3天或伴随牙龈脓肿、面部肿胀,应及时到口腔科就诊。

  1、调整Diet结构:减少辛辣、油炸、高糖食物摄入,避免加重体内上火Symptoms,多吃梨、西瓜、冬瓜等清热生津的食物,同时多喝水促进代谢,帮助减轻口腔局部炎症。
