Introduction
Immediately after poisoning, the individual must be removed from the toxic environment, residual poison should be cleared, airway patency maintained, details of the poisoning recorded, and timely symptomatic treatment administered. Prompt and standardized first aid can reduce the risk of harm. If severe symptoms such as confusion, difficulty breathing, or persistent vomiting occur, immediate medical attention is recommended. Quickly move the person to a safe area with fresh air.

After poisoning, it is essential to immediately remove the person from the toxic environment, eliminate any remaining toxins, maintain an open airway, record details of the poisoning incident, and provide prompt symptomatic treatment. Rapid and proper first aid can reduce the risk of harm. If severe symptoms such as confusion, difficulty breathing, or persistent vomiting occur, seek immediate medical attention.

1. Remove from the poisoning environment: Quickly move the person to a safe area with fresh air, away from the source of the toxin, to prevent further contact with or inhalation of toxic gases or dust, thereby minimizing additional toxin entry into the body.

2. Eliminate residual toxins: For skin exposure, immediately rinse the affected area thoroughly with large amounts of water. For conscious individuals who have ingested poison, vomiting may be induced under professional guidance; avoid blindly using finger stimulation to induce vomiting, which could lead to choking.

3. Maintain airway patency: Loosen the collar and waistband, lay the person flat on their back with the head turned to one side, and clear vomit or foreign objects from the mouth to prevent airway obstruction and suffocation.

4. Record poisoning information: Pay attention to the name of the toxin, time and amount of exposure, and the symptoms exhibited by the victim. Provide accurate information for medical diagnosis and avoid treatment delays due to missing details.

5. Provide timely symptomatic care: If seizures occur, gently restrain limbs to prevent injury. If signs of oxygen deficiency appear, administer oxygen promptly. Do not give water or medication to the poisoned person without medical advice; wait for professional help.

After symptom relief, ensure adequate rest and consume light, easily digestible meals, avoiding spicy or irritating foods. Keep living areas well-ventilated, change contaminated clothing, and wash thoroughly. Closely monitor physical condition and promptly inform family members of any abnormalities.
