Dr. Yang Shuwen
Diclofenac sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with antipyretic and analgesic properties. It is effective in treating sterile inflammatory conditions and various types of pain caused by different etiologies. However, this drug may cause gastrointestinal irritation; therefore, it should not be taken on an empty stomach. Tramadol, by contrast, is a centrally acting analgesic used for postoperative pain and cancer-related pain. This medication carries a risk of dependence.
