Can myocardial ischemia be cured?
Disease description:
Recently, my mood has been poor, and I’ve been feeling excessively anxious. After undergoing a medical examination at the hospital, the doctor indicated that I may be experiencing symptoms of myocardial ischemia. Can myocardial ischemia be cured?
Myocardial ischemia is generally treatable, with the prognosis largely dependent on the underlying cause and its severity. Mild myocardial ischemia is often curable—such cases may result from excessive emotional stress, coronary artery spasm, or inflammation. However, if myocardial ischemia is caused by hypertension or coronary artery disease, it is typically more difficult to cure.
