Osseous tuberculosis is an infectious disease that can cause various discomforts. Systemic symptoms include poor appetite, fever, night sweats, and weight loss, while local symptoms primarily involve pain. Spinal tuberculosis may cause radicular neurological pain and localized pain at the affected site; joint tuberculosis may lead to functional impairment, rendering the affected joint unable to move normally. With timely treatment, most patients with osseous tuberculosis recover fully and have a favorable prognosis.
