Infertility may result from abnormalities in the quantity or quality of cervical mucus, which can impede sperm entry into the uterine cavity. It may also stem from severe cervical inflammation, leading to increased and highly viscous vaginal discharge that hinders sperm penetration. Additionally, congenital uterine malformations can contribute to infertility. Furthermore, conditions such as endometritis, endometrial polyps, endometrial tuberculosis, or inadequate endometrial secretory response may impair embryo implantation, thereby causing infertility.
