What to do about female infertility
Recently, a relative was diagnosed with infertility. May I ask, what can be done for female infertility?

In facing infertility, patients are advised to address the following aspects:
1. Etiological diagnosis: Identify the specific cause of infertility, such as fallopian tube obstruction, ovulation disorders, or endocrine imbalances. This helps in formulating subsequent treatment plans.
2. Physical and auxiliary examinations: Include gynecological exams, endocrine function tests, ultrasound scans, and tubal patency tests to determine if there are structural abnormalities, hormonal imbalances, or fallopian tube blockages.
3. Semen analysis for male partners: Infertility is often a condition involving both partners, and the quality of the male's semen is also an important factor to consider.
4. Medication treatment: For infertility caused by pelvic inflammatory disease, antibiotic medications may be considered.
5. Physical therapy: For mild fallopian tube adhesions or blockages, physical therapies such as acupuncture or ultrashort wave therapy may be used.
6. Surgical treatment: For fallopian tube blockage, tubal cannulation under hysteroscopy and laparoscopy may be performed.
7. Lifestyle adjustments: A balanced diet, moderate exercise, smoking cessation, limited alcohol consumption, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding drug abuse, and supplementing with folic acid are recommended.
