For isolated lymphadenitis, the appropriate department for registration should be selected based on the location of the inflamed lymph nodes. For submandibular or cervical lymphadenitis, patients may register with the Department of General Surgery, Department of Stomatology, or Department of Head and Neck Surgery. For lymphadenitis involving the thoracic/abdominal regions or inguinal lymph nodes, registration with the Department of General Surgery is recommended. If lymphadenitis is secondary to a primary lesion, priority should be given to registering with the department corresponding to the site of the primary condition—for example, lymphadenitis caused by gingivitis or tonsillitis should be referred to the Department of Stomatology.
