Hemorrhagic fever syndrome is typically caused by infection with hantavirus. In cases of hemorrhagic fever syndrome, renal failure commonly occurs; additionally, vascular bleeding may develop, leading to a sharp drop in blood pressure and, in severe cases, shock. Early detection and prompt treatment after symptom onset are strongly recommended to prevent disease progression.
