In early infancy, symptoms such as internal rotation of both upper limbs, difficulty with external rotation of the hips, and crossing of the legs may appear. If parents observe these signs, they should promptly take their child to a hospital for a comprehensive motor development assessment to screen for cerebral palsy. In children over one year of age, spontaneous shaking or trembling of the limbs—particularly during movements such as rolling over or reaching for objects—should raise suspicion for cerebral palsy.
