Tinnitus Following Ménière’s Disease
Disease description:
I’ve recently experienced severe dizziness along with significant hearing loss. After examination, I was diagnosed with Ménière’s disease–associated tinnitus. How is tinnitus caused by Ménière’s disease treated?
For tinnitus patients with Ménière’s disease, if the tinnitus is not particularly severe, symptoms may be alleviated by improving inner ear circulation or taking neurotrophic medications. However, if symptoms are more severe, prompt medical consultation is essential. Under a physician’s guidance, treatment options—including pharmacotherapy or surgery—should be selected based on the individual’s clinical condition.
