Is trapezius muscle soreness the same as periarthritis of the shoulder?

I worked continuously for the entire previous month without any rest, and recently I’ve been experiencing soreness and pain in my trapezius muscle. I’d like to ask: Is trapezius muscle soreness the same as frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)?

No. This symptom is typically caused by lumbar or dorsal muscle strain, cervical spondylosis, or similar conditions. Patients who maintain prolonged forward head posture during work without adequate movement—or who frequently bend at the waist—are prone to developing strain in the neck, lumbar, and back muscles. This often manifests as soreness and pain in the trapezius muscle region. Patients should ensure adequate rest and may undergo local heat therapy or physical therapy; oral analgesics may also be used for pain relief.
