Approximately 80% of patients with hyperthyroidism exhibit characteristic and inflammatory findings on color Doppler ultrasound. Once diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, anti-inflammatory medications should be taken under medical supervision. Warm compresses may also be applied routinely to alleviate symptoms and promote lymph node recovery. In addition to inflammation and viral infection, malignant tumors or lymphadenitis may also cause lymph node enlargement—these possibilities warrant careful attention.
