There are many possible causes of infertility, and a detailed examination is usually required to determine the exact cause. To identify the reasons for infertility, the following tests are typically needed: complete blood count, urinalysis, follicle monitoring, pelvic ultrasound of the uterus and adnexa, immunological infertility testing, and chromosome analysis. For women, tubal evaluation should be conducted at a hospital between 3 to 7 days after menstruation ends. For men, the main focus is on semen analysis to assess sperm quality.
