What causes dry, pellet-like stools?
Disease description:
I've noticed my stool is quite dry. Could you please explain what causes dry, pellet-like stools?
Dry, pellet-like stools may be caused by poor diet or constipation. If one does not maintain a light and balanced diet in daily life and frequently consumes hard-to-digest foods, gastrointestinal motility may become sluggish, leading to dry stools. As the condition progressively worsens, it may also be related to constipation, accompanied by a series of adverse symptoms such as straining during bowel movements and abdominal bloating or pain.
