脱肛能自己塞回去吗

Disease description:

Today I suddenly experienced rectal prolapse while using the bathroom. The situation was quite urgent, so I pushed it back in myself. Is it safe to manually reposition a prolapsed rectum on my own? Could this cause any complications?

For rectal prolapse, you can first try to gently push the tissue back in yourself. If protrusion occurs before surgical treatment is completed, you may slowly reinsert it using a moist wipe. After repositioning, you can gently massage the perianal tissues and perform Kegel exercises. When necessary, apply light pressure on the anus using gauze or toilet paper to prevent further prolapse. If rectal prolapse recurs frequently, seek immediate medical evaluation and surgical intervention; otherwise, it may lead to rectal ptosis and necrosis, increasing the risk of secondary infections.
