What causes menstrual cramps in girls?
Disease description:
I experience dysmenorrhea every time my period comes, and sometimes I need to take painkillers. What causes dysmenorrhea in girls?
Girls' dysmenorrhea is generally caused by fatigue and cold exposure. If the patient has primary dysmenorrhea, it is usually due to congenital underdevelopment of the vagina or uterus. If the patient experiences prolonged fatigue or excessive emotional stress, menstrual pain may worsen. It could also result from wearing insufficient clothing in daily life, leading to prolonged exposure to cold, which triggers dysmenorrhea. Poor genital hygiene and resulting inflammatory infections can also cause menstrual pain.
