Is Hashimoto's hyperthyroidism serious?
Disease description:
A few days ago during my company's health checkup, I was diagnosed with Hashitoxicosis. I've never heard of this condition before—how serious is Hashitoxicosis?
Hashimoto's hyperthyroidism is generally not very severe. Also known as transient hyperthyroidism, most patients experience mild symptoms and can recover with systematic treatment. It is recommended to undergo standard antithyroid drug therapy for Hashimoto's hyperthyroidism to prevent the development of hypothyroidism and to return to normal work and daily life as early as possible.
