What causes pelvic fluid accumulation?
Disease description:
I always feel soreness and pain in the lumbosacral area and a sensation of heaviness in the lower abdomen. I was diagnosed with pelvic fluid accumulation, and I would like to know what causes this condition.
Pelvic fluid accumulation may occur when a woman is in her menstrual or ovulatory phase. Since the pelvis is located in a relatively low position, small amounts of menstrual blood or follicular fluid may flow backward, which is considered a normal physiological phenomenon. It could also result from using low-quality sanitary products during menstruation, inflammation of adjacent organs such as peritonitis or appendicitis, or repeated induced abortions, leading to significantly reduced immunity.
