Can endometritis recur after it has resolved spontaneously?

Disease description:

I had endometritis but it resolved on its own. Recently, I've noticed abnormal vaginal discharge again. I would like to know whether endometritis can recur even after self-resolution.

Endometritis can recur even after spontaneous recovery. If patients do not maintain proper personal hygiene or engage in unhealthy sexual practices, endometritis may relapse. It is recommended that patients maintain good personal hygiene, keep the external genitalia clean and dry, and wear comfortable cotton underwear to help prevent recurrent episodes of the condition.
