I've had pain in my groin area when walking these past couple of days. A colleague mentioned it might be caused by adnexitis, and I'm a bit worried. Can groin pain be a sign of adnexitis?

Pain in the groin area is not necessarily caused by adnexitis. During an episode, adnexitis may lead to pain on the inner side of the upper thigh. However, it cannot be definitively diagnosed as adnexitis based solely on symptoms. It is recommended that patients go to the hospital for an abdominal ultrasound or other relevant examinations to confirm the diagnosis and identify the specific cause for appropriate treatment.
