What causes pain in the testicles and groin area?
Disease description:
Severe pain in the testicles and groin area—what could be causing it, especially when I don't recall doing anything to trigger it?
Pain in the testicles and groin area is usually caused by chronic prostatitis or similar conditions. Frequent urination, urgent urination, and painful urination are common symptoms among patients with chronic prostatitis. It is recommended that patients undergo a B-ultrasound examination to check the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and prostate. If diagnosed, levofloxacin may be prescribed. Patients should maintain a regular lifestyle, drink plenty of water, and avoid spicy foods, alcohol, and smoking.
