Treatment methods for vocal cord nodules

The treatment of vocal cord nodules primarily involves resting the vocal cords, avoiding loud speaking, and minimizing talking. If symptoms do not improve after 2–3 weeks of rest, medications such as Jinsang Sanjie Pill or Huangshi Xiangsheng Pill may be used under a doctor's guidance, along with corticosteroids administered orally or via nebulization. For patients who show unsatisfactory symptom improvement after medication, surgical removal is also an option. After surgery, excessive voice use should be avoided, and unhealthy voice habits should be corrected.
