Disease description:

I went to the hospital for a gynecological examination and was found to have thickened endometrium, so I underwent a dilation and curettage (D&C). A few days after the procedure, my uterus started bleeding again. Why am I still experiencing bleeding after having the endometrium scraped due to its thickness?

Endometrial thickening and persistent bleeding after curettage may be caused by endocrine disorders. If the patient's symptoms are more severe, hysteroscopy is recommended for diagnosis, during which endometrial tissue should be obtained and prepared for pathological examination. After curettage, patients should maintain regular rest, avoid excessive fatigue, refrain from sleeping immediately after meals, and aim for sufficient sleep to promote recovery.
