How to treat urethral stones
Disease description:
I have a ureteral stone and experience severe pain when urinating. How is a ureteral stone treated?
For ureteral stones, if the stone is relatively small and in a favorable position, it may be passed out of the body with the help of stone-expelling medications, increased water intake, and appropriate physical exercise. If the stone is larger, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy may be considered. In cases where severe obstruction occurs, surgical intervention may be necessary.
