Why do I often have constipation?
Disease description:
I often have difficulty with bowel movements for about half of the month, and despite frequently drinking laxative tea, there's no improvement. Why do I keep having constipation?
Constipation is often caused by eating too little food with high calorie intake, insufficient consumption of vegetables and fruits, and lack of physical activity. It is recommended that patients drink at least eight cups of water daily to maintain better health. However, inadequate water intake can also lead to constipation. When the body is dehydrated, water in the stool is absorbed by the intestines, causing the stool to become dry and resulting in constipation.
