Symptoms of ankle synovitis include pain, swelling, and warm skin. Topical application of plasters that promote blood circulation and resolve blood stasis may be helpful, along with taking pain-relieving or blood-circulation-improving medications. Patients should not resume normal physical activities until the joint injury has fully healed. During initial treatment, joint movement should be restricted to allow sufficient time for recovery.
