High blood lipids and high blood pressure in young people
Disease description:
I've gained over 30 pounds in recent years due to the nature of my job. Recently, during a hospital check-up, I found out that my blood lipid and blood pressure levels are high. What should I do now?
Hyperlipidemia and hypertension are common chronic conditions today, collectively known as the "three highs" along with high blood sugar. Young people developing hypertension and hyperlipidemia are mainly influenced by genetic factors, lifestyle, and dietary habits. Most patients with these conditions tend to stay up late, smoke and drink alcohol, lack physical activity, and prefer high-salt, fried, and greasy foods. It is recommended that such patients adopt a light diet and increase aerobic exercise.
