Symptoms of brain tumors
Disease description:
Frequent headaches and dizziness—after a hospital examination, diagnosed with a brain tumor. What are the symptoms of a brain tumor?
Brain tumors can cause symptoms such as headache, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting by compressing normal brain tissue. When the optic nerve is compressed, some patients may experience vision loss, impaired eye movement, or double vision. Since the sense of smell is controlled by cranial nerves, patients may develop hyposmia. Additionally, some patients may also have facial numbness, pain, and difficulty swallowing.
