Type B3 thymoma patients should generally avoid alcohol. Thymoma is a disease primarily caused by abnormal differentiation of thymic epithelial cells, commonly occurring in the anterior mediastinum. Alcohol has irritant properties, and drinking during illness may worsen the condition. Additionally, patients with thymoma should maintain a light diet and avoid spicy, stimulating, and greasy foods.
