What to do about spinal shock
Disease description:
My spinal cord went into shock some time ago, and the situation was quite urgent at the time. I didn't know what to do. I would like to ask, what should be done for spinal shock?
Spinal shock generally requires high-dose steroid pulse therapy. Steroids can protect the spinal cord, promote self-repair in patients, and prevent further damage. Clinically, methylprednisolone is used for pulse treatment; after continuing for 3–5 days, the subsequent steroid dosage is recalculated based on the patient's body weight.
