Early symptoms of otitis media in children
Disease description:
My child was recently diagnosed with otitis media a few days ago, but it's still in the early stage and not very severe. I would like to inquire about the early symptoms of otitis media in children.
Early symptoms of otitis media in children generally include pain and purulent discharge. Due to nasal mucosal congestion and swelling, Eustachian tube dysfunction arises from inadequate nasal cavity ventilation, leading to secretory otitis media. When ear pain occurs, children may frequently cry due to discomfort, exhibiting irritability and earache. In severe cases, tympanic membrane perforation can occur, resulting in discharge flowing from the ear canal.
