Disease description:

I recently felt some discomfort in my vulvar area. After a hospital examination, I was diagnosed with vulvar leukoplakia, but the condition is still in its early stage. My symptoms aren't particularly obvious, so I'd like to know what the early symptoms of vulvar leukoplakia are.

Early symptoms of vulvar leukoplakia are mainly characterized by vulvar itching, which tends to be more severe at night. Some patients may scratch the area due to the intense itch, leading to redness, swelling, and ulceration. When ulcers become extensive, a burning sensation may occur. Additionally, localized skin may undergo keratotic hyperplasia, resulting in pigment loss and the appearance of punctate or patchy white papular lesions.
