Spleen deficiency may cause abdominal pain and increased frequency of bowel movements. Spleen deficiency can be categorized into spleen qi deficiency, spleen yang deficiency, sinking of middle qi, and spleen's failure to control blood. In cases of spleen yang deficiency, symptoms such as poor appetite and abdominal distension may occur. After consuming greasy foods, the frequency of bowel movements may increase, accompanied by abdominal pain and other symptoms. When experiencing spleen deficiency, it is advisable to eat appropriate amounts of foods that refresh the spleen and stimulate the appetite, as well as those that strengthen the spleen and boost qi, to help alleviate symptoms.
